Arete Preparatory School has been part of the Atlanta community since 1998, when we were known as Bits & Bytes Academy. On January 4, 1999, just six pioneering students joined us to begin something special. Since then, nearly a thousand children have grown, learned, and discovered their strengths within our walls.
Our graduates have gone on to continue their journeys at many of Atlanta’s top schools, including The Lovett School, Greater Atlanta Christian School, Pace Academy, Atlanta Girls’ School, and The Galloway School. Some have chosen college-preparatory boarding schools, and many have earned acceptance to respected universities such as the University of Georgia, Georgia Tech, Spelman, Georgia State, and Rutgers.
Helping Children Aim Higher
At Arete, we’ve always believed in helping children aim higher. That’s why our students traditionally learn a grade level ahead in Math and English Language Arts. But above all, we believe in meeting each child exactly where they are.
Seeing the need for more support and opportunity for students with special learning needs, we now offer guided services to help them succeed at their own pace.
