Arete Preparatory School, formerly known as Bits&Bytes Academy, was formerly established in 1998. On January 4,1999, six students became pioneers as they were the first of almost a thousand students who have graced our campus.
Over the years, Arete has produced scholars who have matriculated to schools such as the Lovett School, Greater Atlanta Christian School, Pace Academy, Atlanta Girls School, and Galloway to name a few. We have also had students who have attended college preparatory boarding schools. College matriculation includes UGA, GA Tech, Spelman, GA State, and Rutgers.
Traditionally, we have taught a grade level ahead in Math and ELA. Perceiving a need for better educational opportunities for special needs students, we are now offering guided services to meet their needs at their level.
We have created an environment that is conducive to learning for all levels. Our teachers nurture, encourage, and enrich our students learning by cultivating an atmosphere where there is no dumb questions or wrong answers. We believe this develops students who are curious learners, and confident speakers who are capable of succeeding in an evolving world.
